The 14th of February is pretty much unavoidable, whether you love it, hate it, or love to hate it.

With that said, are you craving some fancy cocktails for you and your beau, but don’t want to break the bank on going out to an overpriced bar? We got you.

This Valentine’s Day, JUICE has partnered up with Pernod Ricard Malaysia to bring you 4 sets of DIY cocktails fit for any couple, check it out:

1. Mr & Mrs Ballantine’s

Starting off strong for the power couple, this partner-in-crime inspired set is for those in relationships that can tackle anything and everything together.

For this, we use Ballantine’s Finest Blended Scotch Whisky which has a recipe that has stayed true to its original since 1910, all the more fitting for relationships that have stood the test of time.

2. Venus & Mars

“Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus,” postulates that the reason for relationship conflicts is that each gender is accustomed to its own set of emotional balances, cultures, and values, or, metaphorically speaking, lives on different planets.

Here’s a fun fact about Absolut Vodka: did you know that their transparent and label-less bottle was inspired by an 18th Century medicine bottle?

In short, communication can be tough and you should aid your relationship woes with a couple of cocktails and just let the booze talk. DISCLAIMER: JUICE and PRM are not responsible for the breaking up of couples via these cocktails. Pour up!

3. Taylor & Kanye

Taylor and Kanye have made headlines for years, with their epic feud all over social media. These drinks are for couples who describe their relationship as “complicated”.

Jameson Irish Whiskey’s motto is “Sine Metu,” which is Latin for “without fear.” Needless to say, sticking to a recipe that’s 200 years old definitely takes courage.

That’s pretty on theme for a relationship that has been on the rocks for a while, yet choosing to stick it out together and persevering through the tough times.

4. Yesterday’s Strawberry Fields

The Beatles are trending again thanks to Peter Jackson’s new documentary. Here’s a nod to the legendary band that wrote the greatest love songs of our time.

Something Beefeater London Dry Gin and The Beatles have in common is that they’ve both won many awards since fruition; The Beatles holding 12, and Beefeater being the The World’s Most Awarded Gin. The Brits really know how to do it, huh?

Tune in to your favourite love songs while cooking up these recipes:
