Jordan Brand Enters Balletcore Territory With New ‘Pointe’

Jordan Brand has unveiled the upcoming Jordan Pointe, a women’s-exclusive silhouette that continues the balletcore trend that basically dominated women’s sneakers in 2025.

It’s a silhouette that blends softness and strength in a balance that feels quite modern, despite the slightly chunky, ‘dad shoe’-like base.

Looking at the Jordan Brand through a completely new lens

The Jordan Pointe doesn’t quite lean on Jordan Brand’s basketball legacy like other shoes do. Instead, the Pointe focuses more on expression and cultural relevance.

After all, the latter really counts, especially when you consider the fact that a similar silhouette (PUMA Speedcat Ballet) won Best Shoe in the JUICE Best Of 2025 roundup. It’s pretty clear that this balletcore aesthetic has a lot of traction, even going into 2026.

Inspired by traditional pointe shoes, the silhouette borrows ballet’s most recognisable cues, like ribbons, wrap-style lacing, and a rather sculpted profile. But they’re all rounded off by Jordan Brand’s performance DNA.

The debut “Hyper Royal” colourway makes a pretty strong first impression as well.

The upper comprises layered leather in two different shades of blue, darker around the toe box and heel, followed by a lighter shade above. Together they give off a wave-like effect, adding some much-needed contrast to an otherwise monochrome sneaker.

Branding is deliberately restrained too, with the only visible logos placed on the strap tab and ankle. Other than that, you’ll also get Jordan branding on the insole, and that’s just about it.

What makes the Pointe so interesting in 2026 is how flexible it is. You’ve got satin ribbons that loop through hidden eyestays, which you can then wrap in multiple ways.

Whether you want them tied high, low, or left loose for a more relaxed fit, they’ll work.

The shoe’s velcro strap adds structure without sacrificing aesthetics. It’s fashion-first but it’s certainly not flimsy.

There’s no confirmed release date for the Jordan Pointe as of the time of writing, but estimates point to a Spring 2026 release via the official Nike site and select retailers.
