If These Cool Cats Can Practice Social Distancing, Why Can’t You?
We know that this pandemic won’t go away any time soon. However, we call can play our part in making sure that our families and communities stay safe by observing higher standards of hygiene and practicing social distancing.
Since the government announced the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on 10 May, Malaysians have the opportunity to resume their business and go out, but the rules still apply. With the throngs of people resuming their daily activities, a feared second wave might be approaching us, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
It’s not that hard to practice social distancing when you’re out, if these cool cats can, why can’t you?
In a Facebook post uploaded by Coleen Joice Aquino, a group of stray cats were seen occupying the circle marks intended for the implementation of social distancing in front of a store at Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City in the Philippines.
“Social distancing, they said, miming. At least they are following. Good job 👍👌,” Aquino wrote in her caption. She said the cats sat there for about 10 minutes before leaving the circles.
“They just went to the circles and stayed for about 10 minutes. I was so excited that I took pictures,” she added. We would too!
The post has now over 16k shares since it was uploaded on 10 May.
Hey, if these felines can do it, why can’t we?
