Human Skeletal Remains Found With Skull One Metre Away From Body in KL
While they were working, two Bangladeshi workers discovered human skeletal remains in bushes along Jalan Kerayong, Brickfields yesterday, Bernama reported.
Brickfields district police chief Anuar Omar said the skeletal remains were found by the two workers while cutting grass at an empty plot of a farm at 12:30pm.
“We are in the process of identifying the victim as the remains were found in a state of decomposition and the skull was found about a metre away from the body,” Anuar told Bernama.
He said a red t-shirt with “Seven Saints” written on it was found next to the body and adds that checks found there was no closed-circuit television camera nor security guard in the area.
“The Forensic Unit personnel, Detective Dog unit (K9) and pathologists from Kuala Lumpur Hospital were present at the scene to conduct investigations,” he added.
Anuar said the case has been classified as sudden death and urged anyone with missing relatives to come forward and help with the investigation.
