Here are 4 Cutie Patootie Star Wars Characters Other Than Baby Yoda

source: Insider

Since The Mandalorian hit Disney+, one particular character took centre stage, even putting the protagonist at the back seat. Y’all know who it is – Baby Yoda, the cutest little thing that’s come out from the Star Wars universe. The Child everyone wants to adopt.

The question is though, are there others who could compete with Baby Yoda in a contest of cuteness?  Maybe, or maybe Baby Yoda will always be number 1. However, since it’s May the Fourth, the official Star Wars day, I’ve felt compelled to do a list of other cute characters from the lore. It’s just tradition, you know?

In no particular order, I’ve chosen four characters from the main Star Wars stories (films and TV) so you don’t have to hurt your brain trying to figure them out.

Porgs (Star Wars: The Last Jedi)

source: Cinema Blend

The Star Wars fan base was easily categorised between the Original Trilogy gang and the Prequels gang, but when Episode 8 came out, it settled the wars between the two factions, making Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi the common enemy.

It was so divisive that even within the film, people were arguing whether the Porgs are cute or not. I think they’re cute, but you can be the judge of that. I’m not going to lie though, roasted Porgs sounds like a good berbuka meal.

Babu Frik (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker)

The last instalment of the Sequel Trilogy, ROS gives us a subpar ending to a rich and beloved franchise. It doesn’t hit all the right notes, but I appreciate Abrams for trying. And for Babu Frik. His wrinkly smol body, cute whiskers and drunken “Hey, heys!” are one of the things I’ll remember about ROS (we’re still trying to forget that kiss. God, that kiss)

Loth Cat (The Mandalorian)

Loth Cat was first introduced in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels (that’s for another time) and appeared in one of The Mandalorian episodes. Native to the planet Lothal, the creature resembles a lovechild of a bird and a cat, just overall great for cuddles. I thought the animated version was already cute, but the live-action version? I want to pet that. NOW.

Ewoks (Star Wars: Return of the Jedi)

Since they first appeared in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the Ewoks have been a controversy amongst the Star Wars fan base (what’s new?). Whether you like them or not, there’s no denying that you just want to hug these forest teddy bears. (Just don’t look into their eyes)

So, what’s your pick for the cutest Star Wars characters? It could be Jabba the Hutt for all I know. Whatever it is, share your list with us in the comments!
