CHILLING WITH THE STARS
Once it was a level filled with concrete and cobwebs and now it has become one of Kuala Lumpur’s best secret hideouts for clienteles that just want to relax from a day’s work without any obnoxious bar fights and scantily clad jailbaits. Located on the 34th floor of Menara KH, Heli Lounge Bar is an obvious aeronautically themed lounge with black and white floorings and imported interiors from the States. Once you enter the lounge, you will be greeted with a Beaver model airplane hovering from the ceiling, a 3-blade plane propeller from Motoart, a section of a Boeing 737 side panel cleverly converted into a seating booth and across the room, lies half of Boeing 747’s turbine as the DJ deck. After you’re done chilling in the lounge area, climb up a few flights of stairs to spread your wings at their most unique selling point, the helipad. Offering 360 degree panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, the helipad is the ideal place for you to clear your mind while enjoying KL’s skyline as the backdrop to your evening. But whoever that has vertigo or easily drunk, we’d suggest you stay in the lounge before any drama due there being no barriers surrounding the helipad, we don’t want any drunken wannabe Batman causing a scene. The helipad also plays hosts on special occasions like National Day and New Year’s Eve, where one could enjoy a VIP view of fireworks parading across the night sky for you take a picture and gain tonnes of ‘likes’ in your Instagram feed.

CLIENTELE Working professionals around the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, anybody that’s up for a  breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur’s concrete jungle with a few drinks in hand. Definitely not the Changkat usuals.

DRINKS The usual beers, cocktails and wine. Special price for the ladies on Thursdays, with RM15 per cocktail and also a special package called ‘Helicious’, offering 2 bottles of your choice and 10 signature shots for only RM599 nett. There are also special discounts for air crew, bankers and oil and gas professionals on selected nights, so better grab a friend or a relative working under those fields to get yourself a discount.

HAPPY HOURS Daily from 6pm until 9pm of your favourite brew and enjoy the spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur’s sunset.

EATS The menu consists of basic finger foods like chips, chicken wings and hot dogs.

MUSIC POLICY Jazz during Happy Hours for a chill out ambience after working hours, then normal hours is mostly r’n’b and house.

DRESS CODE Smart Casual, but men can wear shorts. Yes, really. But there will be themed nights organized, so one must follow strictly to the themed dress codes or no party party.

PARKING You can park at Menara KH but the parking is a bit dodgy and old, but we’d suggest parking at the building next door, Menara Dion.
