Cuvee is slightly more atas than what you’d expect of George Town, what not with it being a champagne and wine nightspot at Precinct 10. That’s really just a front though, closer to midnight the crowd will be separated by 2 types; the punters near the DJ deck and the hoity-toity wine drinkers hidden away in the quieter wine room. Come Heineken Thirst x JUICE Pre Party Series though, we’re planning to get the latter to join the former. A task not as impossible as you’d think considering we turned a goddamned heritage restaurant into a club last year with the Heineken x JUICE Progressive Tour.

How big are Goldfish & Blink? They might just be Malaysia’s first global EDM superstars – these boys just signed an exclusive publishing deal with Hardwell Publishing! This is not a first by them though, they’ve expanded their international profile through releases on Dirty Dutch, MixMash Records, Vicious, and Universal Music before. Indubitably the hardest working duo in Southeast Asia with a list of performances that include everything from smaller clubs to big concerts, the two are already seasoned pros at controlling a festival crowd by now – regularly getting the same reaction punters would give big international DJs. Not the last stop of the tour, but we think it might just be the highlight.

Jee Hoe proved that he’s got what it takes to get Ipoh punters to move to his set last year, this year he intends to repeat the same in Penang, showing that his skills on the deck is a nationwide thing. Although his preferred playlist would include anyone from Cut Copy to Aeroplane to even Laidback Luke, his expansive collection of songs means he could cater to anyone, even the most commercial crowd (try playing in Ipoh to see what we mean). A resident at Zouk Club KL for their weekly night, HOUSE THIS?, Jee Hoe is one of the more underrated names in the dance scene.
Darling Sabrina

She played at Heineken x JUICE Progressive Tour in Penang just last year. This November, Darling Sabrina returns for part deux. A DJ competition veteran, Sabrina has been a finalist to many renowned contests of that ilk, namely Heineken’s own Found @ Thirst, Pioneer Digital DJ Battle, and Astro Spinmaster. While a champion of none, this progressive and trance deckmeister has gone toe-to-toe with some of the best local DJs enough times to grow more than adept at killing it on the dancefloor.
