Known for his roles as Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise and Indiana Jones in the titular film franchise, Harrison Ford is ready to step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After the passing of William Hurt earlier this year, who played General “Thunderbolt” Ross in the MCU, Ford is set to take over the role.

While many assumed that Ford wouldn’t be interested in joining the MCU, Ford gave a straight-forward and simple answer as to why he is.

“Hey, look, I’ve done a lot of things. I now want to do some of the things I haven’t done,” Ford said in a podcast called “The Playlist” in their latest episode.

If you want to give it a listen, it’s down below.

From what we know, Ford has been cast as General Ross in the upcoming sequel Captain America: New World Order. While Ross’s role in the movie is still a mystery, it’s possible that his appearance will put pieces of the plot together.

Captain America: New World Order will be premiering sometime in 2024.
