It should be common knowledge that the local music scene is teeming with an abundance of incredible talent that deserve a hell a lot more of attention than they get. Well, Guinness is set to remedy exactly that with their brand spanking new Guinness Amplify campaign — an extensive series of events that aims to get your ears perked up and poised to relish some of that long gestating homegrown music.

Guinness Amplify: Music Made of More will be featuring 14 artistes whom are passionate and dedicated to the craft of making good tunes. Just to name a few; think the likes of geek rocker OJ Law, the twee melancholy of Froya, bluesy folk duo Halfway Kings, veterans They Will Kill Us All, and electropop rock band Dash. Kickstarting the Guinness Amplify Live Tour with a bang, American singer Howie Day, best known for his mega ballad ‘Collide’, will be headlining the first show along with bands-of-the-moment; Paperplane Pursuit and Kyoto Protocol.

The sprawling six-week event will take place at six different locations within the Peninsular, ending on a high note with a special mysterious grand final performance that would surely blow your brains away.
