Guinness Amplify: Curates

It was just late last year when we had the chance to check out the sprawling event that was the Guinness Amplify: Music Made of More that embarked on a tour of the Peninsular. The tour enlisted many gifted acts such They Will Kill Us All, Kyoto Protocol, OJ Law and even commissioned Canadian nu reggae band MAGIC! (‘Rude’ is still on the radio and inspiring lovers to take that leap) for their epic finale show at KL Live. Continuing its spirit of promoting local talents, here comes an iteration of the successful campaign – Guinness Amplify: Curates. For the inaugural show, it will see an established artiste/curator – Froya – ‘paying it forward’ by inviting acts like Jumero, Rozella and +2db. Based on the acts slated to perform, we suggest that this campaign will be no less than entertaining; and if you like gutsy female acts that don’t quite fit common genres, come to this upcoming installment.
