GreenRoom Brings Noise, Sweat & Art To KL’S Underground

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

You ever get that itch, the one that tells you KL’s getting too clean, too beige, too safe? Same.

Enter GreenRoom, a two-day chaos capsule hitting 28–29 June 2025 at JamPJ, tucked behind Gasket Alley.

Not your average artsy fartsy festival with overpriced oat lattes and folks pretending to like ambient drone, expect sweat, distortion, secondhand tees, weird art, cheap thrills, and the kind of music that rattles your fillings.

The Main Event

On 28 June, Undercurrent: GreenRoom takes over JAMBOX for one night only. Five acts, one stage, zero fillers.

  • Sweetass: Grungy, bratty, loud.

  • Midnight Fusic: Heartbreak you can sway to.

  • Spooky Wet Dreams: Righteous noise with something to say.

  • Hawa: Raw, ethereal, impossible to pin down.

  • NoteVoid: Glitchy, moody, built for headphones and breakdowns.

Tix are RM75. Don’t whine about the price. Support your local scene!

Day Market? Say Less.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., both days, GreenRoom flips into a free-for-all market. Entry’s free. Expect to witness 40+ vendors slinging vinyl, merch, handmade gear, thrift fits, zines, and food that might actually save your life, along with art installations by Dasein Academy of Art and Tali Art Gallery. Wild, unfiltered, probably won’t match your Pinterest board.

Plus, workshops for those who like to touch stuff with the likes of Rifdi (Guitar Hospital) showing you how to fix your guitar with whatever’s lying around, Mokhtarizal (ISeekMusicStudio) breaking down the basics of DIY music production, and Pangrok Sulap teaching you woodcut printing, Sabahan punk style.

New to the scene? Doesn’t matter.

Whether you’ve been moshing since puberty or just here for the vibe, GreenRoom doesn’t care. No velvet ropes. No awkward wristbands. Just music, art, and people who give a damn. See you there!
