Future Music Festival Asia 2013: Smack My Piñata Up!
The Prodigy Pres. Warrior’s Dance Arena
Not all DJ crews can smack b!tches like The Prodigy. Presented by Asahi Malaysia, they’re bringing their Warrior’s Dance Arena to FMFA with more than just themselves, joining them will be Feed Me Live (Live Teeth Show), and bass heroes Kill the Noise, Zeds Dead. It’s a stage dedicated to electronic music for the harder-edged, bass heads – The Warriors are coming out to play.
The Prodigy
Firestarting, b!tch-smacking legends themselves The Prodigy will be spinning. This trio is so grimy and hardcore, their video was at one point prevented from being aired before midnight in their home country, the UK. And we all know how liberal they are with crazy ish. www.theprodigy.com
Feed Me
Jonathan Gooch, performing at FMFA13 as his alter ego Feed Me, is a d’n’b, dubstep, and electro house DJ-producer with an audiovisual flair. You’ll witness this in the form of Teeth, whom he will be bringing to the fest. Fans should know what we are talking about, but for the rest of you, wait and see. feedme.uk.com
Kill The Noise
New York basshead Jake Stanczak, aka Kill the Noise, is a d’n’b, dubstep, electro and house producer who is also the co-owner of Slow Roast Records with turntable great DJ Craze. www.killnoisekill.com
Zeds Dead
Dubstep-associated but genre-undefined Zeds Dead is a Toronto-based duo made of DC and Hooks. Obviously fans of Tarantino, the formerly hip hop act (used to be Mass Productions) makes harder sounding dubstep tunes that’d probably shut anyone who still asks “Who’s Zed?” www.whoszed.com
