FUTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL ASIA ’13
Saturday 16 March ’13
4pm-2am

The Prodigy pres. Warrior’s Dance Arena (Mainstage )
Having toured their own Warrior’s Dance Festival, these Perra-smackin’ legends of the UK’s grimy underground, The Prodigy , are bringing their eardrums-piercing arena to FMFA ’13.

H3 with Arabyrd (DJ) [MY]
Playing together and warming up the crowd at the mainstage are H3 and Arabyrd. H3’s recent trap obsession complements Ara’s genre-crossing swag perfectly. www.facebook.com/H3Music soundcloud.com/arabyrd

Zeds Dead (DJ) [CA]
Dubstep-associated but genre-undefined Zeds Dead is a Toronto-based duo made of DC and Hooks. Obviously fans of Tarantino, the formerly hip hop act (used to be Mass Productions) makes harder sounding dubstep tunes that’d probably shut anyone who still asks “Who’s Zed?” www.whoszed.com

Idiotape (LIVE) [KR]
South Korea ain’t just k-pop. Idiotape’s brand of dance beats mixed with electro punk riffs make for an idiosyncratic sound that is uniquely their own. www.idiotape.com

DJ Fresh (LIVE) [UK]
DJ Fresh might just be too future, bros. New album Nextlevelism lives its namesake, featuring the likes of Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal, Rizzle Kicks, Professor Green, Ms Dynamite, The Fray and Liam Bailey. Performing his FRESH/LIVE set at FMFA13, the live show incorporates a drummer, guitarist, vocalist, an MC and Fresh himself on keys to recreate his tracks as close as possible to the recorded versions. www.thedjfresh.com

Kill the Noise [US]
New York basshead Jake Stanczak, aka Kill the Noise, is a d’n’b, dubstep, electro and house producer who is also the co-owner of Slow Roast Records with turntable great DJ Craze. www.killnoisekill.com

Feed Me [UK]
Jonathan Gooch, performing at FMFA13 as his alter ego Feed Me, is a d’n’b, dubstep, and electro house DJ-producer with an audiovisual flair. You’ll witness this in the form of Teeth, whom he will be bringing to the fest. Fans should know what we are talking about, but for the rest of you, wait and see. feedme.uk.com

Prodigy (LIVE) [UK]
Firestarting, b!tch-smacking legends themselves, The Prodigy, will be smacking a piñata or two. This trio is so grimy and hardcore, their video was at one point prevented from being aired before midnight in their home country, the UK. And we all know how liberal they are with crazy sh!t. www.theprodigy.com
