THE COMPLETE HANDBOOK TO SURVIVING FMFA ‘13

L IS FOR LIVER
Yes, we know it’s tempting to enhance your experience with alcoholic beverage. You might enjoy yourself more — we don’t know — but Sepang is so far away from civilisation, think about the drive back home! Take care of your liver and drive safe, you loco festival-goer you. More importantly, you’d want to remember what’s going to happen during the festival.

M IS FOR MERCHANDISE
JUICE’s Best Local Brand 2012, Pestle & Mortar, collaborated with FMFA ’13 for a kickass pocket tee. Retails at standard P&M price.

N IS FOR NO DRUGS
FMFA will be extremely strict this year, so don’t play the mule card just because of the Mexicana theme, pollino. Expect detection dogs and a stricter door check-up this time around. For further elucidation on rules and regulations of the festival, check out page 6.

O IS FOR OPEN-MINDEDNESS
FMFA13 isn’t just a rave, it’s a music festival with live bands alongside DJs and solo acts. To maximise your enjoyment, you need to know what’s going on. That means having the itinerary with you, planning who you want to catch (and who to miss), and actually enjoying the damn concert. There’s really no reason for you to walk under the scorching sun for hours on end just because everyone else is doing it when you are only familiar with one act. So branch out and experiment! There’s a reason why the festival is incredibly diverse, to broaden your horizon.

P IS FOR POOL PARTY
LapSap is bringing their incredibly fun – and debauched – Pool Party to FMFA ’13. Not to repeat their previous pool parties, the festival edition of it features… a dumpster pool, literally made out of dumpsters. Accessibly by everyone, this stage will include lockers for you to put your stuff, so make sure you bring extra clothes this Saturday 16 March!
