THE COMPLETE HANDBOOK TO SURVIVING FMFA ‘13

An A to Z guide to surviving Future Music Festival Asia. Because after all this time, festival-goers still see girls in high heels and long dresses – and boys in super skinny jeans and suede kicks – almost dying of heatstroke.

A IS FOR ASAHI
Asahi Malaysia is the official beer of FMFA ’13 – so official that they decided to erect their own tent near the mainstage; Club Asahi. Featuring the Asahi Superdry All Stars (see page 12 for the list of DJs), the stage encompasses both days and only open to VIP ticket holders.

B IS FOR BAGS
Well, you’re gonna need some sort of contraption to keep all your items. A bag of any kind should be practical, should they not be the ones that girls make their boyfriends carry. We recommend backpacks and tote bags.

C IS FOR CANTEENA
Featuring about 30 vendors, the Food Bites-curated La Canteena will make sure no one will be left malnourished despite the Saharan-level of heat at Sepang. Expect Malaysian dishes, famous fast food providers and some homegrown talents bringing their very own menu to La Canteena – there’s something for everyone! To enhance the festival experience, food will be served out of food boats and simple packaging – so that you could munch while people rave to trance. The Canteena(s) is placed strategically and clustered into two sections – one to simply eat and chill and the other, festival goers can watch the acts at an area and be able to overlook all the acts.
