Find Pre-Loved Electronics, Clothes, & Even Cute Containers at ‘Kabut In The Park 2.0’
Calling all bargain hunters in the Klang Valley! A newly established pop-up market – Kabut In The Park 2.0 by KonMari Warriors is back with twice the size and twice the love. The event, inspired by the punisher of hoarders herself, Marie Kondo, will feature a variety of pre-loved items sold from vendors’ kabuts (y’know, car boots).
The yard sale will be happening at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) in Sentul, this Saturday at 9am.
Whether you are a young couple just starting a home, a student living off a limited budget, or just a somebody who likes unique items, you’ll definitely find something as there are 45 vendors for you to check out!
Since it’s mostly pre-loved items, the prices will be at a minimum! The obvious tea is that you can shop ’till you drop without worrying about going broke.
Be on the lookout and you can find winter jackets and ugg boots for kids, electronic gadgets, reusable containers, plants, toys, books, car seats, shoes, clothing and more. Don’t forget the free bins that some vendors put out that is yours to take.
Here’s the poster for the event:
Founded by Evangeline Lim – an advocate for sustainable living, Kabut in the Park is a non-profit initiative in collaboration with KLPAC. If you love thrifting and buying pre-loved items, this yard sale was created to bridge the gap by catering to non-retail owners – just everyday normal folk – who want to give a second life to their pre-loved items while benefiting others and reducing waste.
Climate change is real, people! And shopping sustainably can help. Now, let’s embark on a #zerowaste journey.
