In collaboration with the Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival (MIGF), KULinary 2019 is back and better than ever!

Created by Malaysia Airports, the KULinary initiative is an annual event that celebrates the best of food and beverage in KLIA and klia2. This year marks the fourth instalment, and you’re invited!

This year is extra special because KULinary is collaborating with MIGF for the first time. That means F&B outlets will be evaluated by professional judges, including beloved celebrity Chef Wan and Ms Ming Ho, the General Manager of Le Cordon Bleu.

With these culinary heavy hitters, you can be sure the winning dishes will truly represent the highest quality of airport noms!

There will be a food sampling where you get to indulge in delicious treats!

All you have to do is pick up a booklet worth RM30, which contains six vouchers worth RM5 each. These ‘GastroDollars’ can be used to purchase your food sampling! Each sampling costs RM5.

In addition to enjoying the food sampling, there will also be loads of cooking demos and lifestyle workshops you can join

Taking place on the Main Stage throughout the three-day food festival, learn from the top chefs and culinary experts of Malaysia!

1. Learn authentic Italian cuisine from Chef Giuseppe Lioce of Nero Nero

Giuseppe Lioce hails from Italy and worked in five-star hotels all over the world, before deciding to settle in Malaysia. The acclaimed chef heads Nero Nero, an Italian bistro that focuses on fresh ingredients, seasonal produce, and authentic Italian fare.

2. See the art of French techniques up close with Chef Nathalie Arbefeuille of Nathalie Gourmet Studio

Chef Nathalie is renowned for her sweet delicacies, especially her macarons! Nathalie Gourmet Studio is both a cooking school and catering service, providing new twists to traditional French techniques.

3. Get hands-on with Malaysia’s very own Chef Wan

The culinary ambassador for Tourism Malaysia, Chef Wan is synonymous with Southeast Asian cuisine. De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan showcases modern Malaysian food and is simply scrumptious!

4. Experience Malaysian fine dining with Chef Johnson Wong of gēn 根

gēn 根 is a modern Malaysian community restaurant spearheaded by Chef Johnson Wong. Fusing the best local produce, this is Malaysian fine dining at a whole new level.

5. Enjoy European cuisine from Chef Gary Chang of Champignon

Chef Gary Chang uses his global knowledge and experience to create tasty and affordable European dishes at his restaurant Champignons.

6. Learn the art of spices with Chef Sapna Anand of Goa

Chef Sapna Anand went from being a home-cook to a published cookbook author and professional chef. Her resto-bar, Goa, blends Indian and Portuguese cultures, providing exotic New Indian Cuisine and Indian Inspired Cocktails.

7. Savour authentic Sri Lankan dishes from Chef Suppaiya Sivaraja from Aliyaa

Chef Suppaiya heads Aliyaa, an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant. With his signature curry powder made with spices from Sri Lanka, Chef Suppaiya is famous for his Sri Lankan crab and mutton dishes.
