The internet is a vicious place especially when it comes to the rampant sexual fiends who will use every opportunity to post lewd content online.
While meme-ing is a common practice amongst current internet users, some take it too far by oversexualising materials that should be kept cute and wholesome.
Recently, this problem has permeated into the Ejen Ali fanbase when their official Twitter account posted a statement, pleading their fans to refrain from posting explicit content related to the brand.

A reminder to fellow Ejens from MATA HQ:
Let’s keep the fandom as a safe place for everyone.

While they encourage their fans to unleash their creativity and post fanart, they urge everyone to keep it respectful so as to keep the fanbase clean.
With the existence of Rule 34 and 4chan, the internet is a never-ending well of pornography and it’s no surprise that something as popular as Ejen Ali could be subjected to this Internet rule.
However, since it is Malaysian and we have the agency to control what we post, let’s try to keep things respectful, okay?
