A drunk driver with 38 past summonses rammed his Toyota Vellfire MPV into an MCO roadblock mounted by police at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway on Wednesday (9 June) night.

According to NST, a breathalyser test on the 56-year-old businessman later found him to be five times above the alcohol consumption limit, while his blood-alcohol level was recorded at 400mg/100ml.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the 8.30 pm incident as 15 policemen on duty managed to avoid the vehicle, but police signage, beacon lights and traffic cones were damaged.
