Take note music lovers of the DJing persuasion, JUICE along with MONSOON+ INVSN are bringing DJ Vadim and Dizz1 on the 14 and 17 September respectively!
DJ Vadim – 14 September – 8.30pm
International hip hop veteran DJ Vadim is in the house. You don’t know who Vadim aka Daddy Vad is? Well, he moved from St Petersburg to London at the age of 5, but his music career started a little later in the 90s. Vad bought a sampler and started working on the music that would become Abstract Hallucinating Gases and Headz Ain’t Ready EPs (1995). Later in the year he signed to the iconic record label, Ninja Tune, and so began the whirlwind that is the life of DJ Vadim. Vad has been touring, jamming, remixing and spinning for about 20 years now and has worked with Stevie Wonder, Dilated Peoples, DJ Krush & The Roots to name a few. This man is a walking music encyclopedia. Excited? You better RSVP on Facebook, because this event will be guestlist only.

Dizz1 – 17 September – 7.00pm (workshop) – 9.30pm (Party)
Dizz1 is an artist/producer/DJ from the land down under with massive music street cred. He has attended Red Bull Music Academy in Spain as well as worked alongside Steve Spacek and Lorn. Groove to his unique mixes on the wheels of steel at Palate Palette as he, along with local support from Cee, Tubby, and H3, tear the roof off Palate Palette. Budding (wannabe) turntablist, learn your craft here as Dizz1 will be passing on his skills at the Ableton & Serato workshops with MONSOON+ ‘s very own Cee.
