JUST DECENT
When was the last time Diplo had a solo release? We can hardly remember. But that doesn’t stop him from being the hottest dance producer around — from producing for Azealia Banks to touring with Skrillex. So when Mad Decent suddenly releases extended play Express Yourself, it almost comes off as big meh. He’s become the kinda DJ who doesn’t need any physical outputs anymore.

The EP is representative of Diplo’s current live sets, and naturally it spans the current genres dance enthusiasts get off to – from moombahton, dubstep, dancehall to bounce (please don’t bastardise this genre, non-New Orleanian DJs). Unfortunately all of them are just okay at best.
