Every month JUICE gets down with a trendsetting, jetsetting type and asks them to unearth their favourite pieces of pop culture. This month we got Yung Shen. The founder of The Swagger Salon (voted JUICE Best Local Streetwear of 2011) to divulge his list of all things cool.

NIKEID AIR FORCE 1
I always wanted to own a pair of NIKEiD AF1’s but never had the chance to until a couple of weeks ago. No matter how many pairs of kicks you have in your collection, nothing feels as satisfying as having your own customised, one of one pair of AF1’s. I read the new NIKEiD Bespoke AF1’s are going at $800 a pair. Uh-oh.

CHILI PAN MEE
I’m probably going to incur the wrath of all Kin Kin loyalists out there, but I’ll say that Kin Kin is overrated. The SS2/Batu Road “Chilly Pan Mee” outlet is way better in terms of taste, service, comfort and portion. Definitely worth the double diarrhea from chili overdose.

NIKON FE2
I’m no professional photographer, but my Nikon FE2 is easily one of my best friends. Shooting film beats snapping away on a DSLR any day.
