HAD ONYX WENT FULL PUNK
This afro-anarchopunk band’s free LP Ex-millitary garnered them not just critical acclaim and instant notoriety, but a record deal with Epic as well.  Their first official studio release The Money Store continues where its predecessor left off; industrial punk that is equal parts Bomb Squad, Onyx, and Primal Scream.

This time around the moshing is sometimes coupled with some dancing too, if your idea of dance is flailing your arms around in anarchic arrhythmia that is. Vocalist Stefan’s raps, or barking rather, are as harsh as ever – makes you wonder why it took this long for punk and rap to finally coalesce into something that is ten times more credible than rap rock.
