COVID-19 Spike Reaches an All Time High in Malaysia at 1,755 New Cases

At the beginning of October, Malaysia broke its record for Covid-19 cases with a total of 691 positive new cases. Today (6 November), we’ve broken that record yet again with a whopping 1,755 new cases.

According to KKM, the majority of cases (1,199) come from Sabah, while the rest are in Pulau Pinang (192), Selangor (164), Labuan (69) and Negeri Sembilan (45).

There have been 2 new deaths and 3 new clusters.

With this, the total number of cases in Malaysia amounts to 38,189 cases with 279 total deaths.
