While we wait with bated breath for Nike’s celebration of the Cortez’s 40th year this Saturday 19 May, the good folks at PHBKLK and District Shop dropped us an email unveiling the process of their interpretation of the classic Cortez design. DEAD MOJO of the graffiti clique’s design is adorned with uniquely West Coast (as in LA West Coast, not ours) aesthetics and comes complete with a coffin emblazoned with a swag skull. Watching the video, we wish we paid more attention during shop class in high school.
