Excitement is building among music lovers as rumours circulate that British rock band Coldplay will be bringing their world tour to Malaysia in November 2023.

An advertisement for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour that was displayed on a screen adjacent to Pavillion Bukit Bintang, captured in a clip published on May 5th by artist manager Iman Tang is what first sparked the discussion.

Although the advertisement did not explicitly mention Malaysia, Iman Tang captioned the video with “rumours are over,” leading fans to believe that Coldplay will indeed perform in the country.

An advertisement by the event’s organiser, Live Nation Malaysia, that alluded to the band’s attendance in Malaysia, added to the buzz and fed speculations. Additional information is expected to be released on May 9th, according to the band’s official fan account in Malaysia, which also confirmed the news on Twitter, quoting a “reliable source”.

Coldplay, one of the largest rock bands in the world, boasts a sizeable fan base thanks to its well-known singles including ‘Yellow’, ‘Viva La Vida’, and ‘Fix You’. This show will come as a part of the band’s extended Music of the Spheres World Tour, with several stops across North America.

As of right now, all that’s left to do is wait for the official announcement and be prepared to attend a concert that we believe will be the adventure of a lifetime…
