Body-Shamed By Haters & Fans, Jesy Nelson Leaves Little Mix To Focus On Her Mental Health
Hit UK girl group, Little Mix, will be transforming into a trio from a quartet real soon as Jesy Nelson, one of the vocalists, has decided to leave after nine years of being together.
The shocking announcement was made on the group’s Twitter account, which caught many of their fans off guard. However, this is not a random decision.
Instead, this was a well-thought out plan by Jesy, as she now intends to move on and focus more on her mental health as well as spend time with the people that she loves.
After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.

The singer, who has been bullied constantly by haters as well as fans for her weight and appearance, has expressed that she always found herself under constant pressure from being in a girl group and having to live up to certain beauty standards. She also stated that the experience of being part of a girl group had taken a toll on her mental health.

Penning an Instagram caption, Jesy stated that being in the band had been “the most incredible time” but she has to now “embark on a new chapter”.
Starting out as hopeful singers and turning into international celebrities with chart-topping albums and songs, Little Mix has definitely come a long way in their career. They are currently number five on the Billboard chart with their hit ‘Sweet Melody’.
