Miley Cyrus cheekily celebrated the ten-year anniversary of her getting caught doing a bong hit, just five days after her 18th birthday, in a video obtained and leaked by TMZ.

While the 28-year-old apologized for disappointing fans at the time, she celebrated the incident of her smoking a psychedelic herb, Salvia, yesterday (14 Dec) by posting up the clip on her social media platforms.

The rockstar’s caption wrote: “Happy 10 year anniversary to the groundbreaking video of a teenager smoking a bong & saying dumb sh*t to their friends (Not sure the director of this fine film should be considered a “friend” but…) Time really flew by. I remember this like it was yesterday….. J/K I don’t remember sh*t cause I was f*cked the hell up. #YesItWasReallySalvia #IfYouFindWeedThatDoesThisToYouSHARE”.

The video, which came out almost a year after the last episode of Hannah Montana in 2011, spread like wildfire over the Internet and at the time, disappointed many fans who viewed her as a “role model”.

Miley revealed on Twitter last year that the video caused her to miss out on a massive Walmart deal.

“It is no secret that I was into partying in my teens and early 20’s. I have not only smoked but advocated for weed, I’ve experimented with drugs, my biggest song to date is about dancing on molly and snorting lines in the bathroom… I lost a massive Walmart deal at 18 for ripping a bong,” she wrote.

Skip to 2020, Miley Cyrus recently released her rock-entrenched seventh studio album, Plastic Hearts, which features Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, Dua Lipa, and even Billy Idol.

Seems like Miley is continuing to fly high…
