If you’re reading this, chances are, you grew up in the early 2000s. And even more likely, British boyband Blue played the soundtrack to your first heartbreak, your first crush, or at least one painfully awkward school event or dance.

You’ve probably heard ‘All Rise’ blaring through tinny speakers, and Lee Ryan hitting those high notes with such effortless flair. After all, it was the golden age of boybands, and whether you publicly admitted to enjoying their music or not, there’s no denying that Blue somehow sounded both sentimental and cool at the same time.

They’re a little older, a little wiser, and still ready to get you singing along to ‘One Love’ like it’s 2002 all over again. To mark their 25th anniversary, Blue is going on a world tour, and of course, they’ll be stopping by KL on 9 February 2026 for a show at Zepp KL.

Their signature blend of R&B swagger and pop sincerity gave us massive hits like ‘Too Close’, ‘If You Come Back’, and that surprising (but also pretty on-brand) Elton John feature in ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’.

And the numbers definitely prove their success: over 15 million records sold, three #1 albums, and two BRIT awards, all achieved before most of us even graduated high school or uni. This writer was still navigating the ups and downs of primary school when Blue was around.

You might feel inclined to think that this reunion tour is just another cash grab, but Blue’s recent UK and European shows have proven that they’re not just coasting on memory and nostalgia. They’ve still got the pipes, the banter, and the endless energy that once made them pop icons.

So when they hit Zepp KL in February next year, expect a night that feels less like a reunion and more like you’ve just travelled back in time. Whether you’re there to relive the good ol’ days or introduce someone to the joys of Blue’s music, it’s gonna be one of those rare gigs where everyone knows all the lyrics.
