Battery Acid Club + Objekt – Object
Concept Space

Nestled in a lone row of shop lots in the middle of Damansara Uptown’s housing area is the “creative collective platform” known as Battery Acid Club (BAC) and Objekt—Object. To most, BAC is a café/event space with an interior that differs from the run-of-the-mill eateries mushrooming in the city and beyond. Its distinctive clinical appeal serves as a perfect foundation for not only chattering customers but also for the café’s multi-purposed intentions. The retail arm named Objekt—Object is a lifestyle store that sells items that are not only aesthetically pleasing but functional as well. The stock of items is a mixture of the old and new, either from the owners’ private collections or consigned; the designers and brands are local (The Alphabet Press, Mossery, Project Swissify) and international (Artemide, Braun, Project Lamy) too. Together, both the café and the retail shop make up a concept where the owners hope to bring forth good design through the communal experience fostered via discussion and coffee.

Battery Acid Club + Objekt – Object are located at 21, Jalan SS21/34, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
