AraabMusik: Electronic Dream (Duke)

What do hip hop producers dream of? Electronic music apparently if AraabMuzik is anything to go by.

Better known for being Soulja Boy’s producer, Electronic Dream is a surprising genre detour as it is essentially a dance album. AraabMuzik isn’t too preoccupied with making beats from scratch though (who has time for that?), instead he chops and rearranges famous house tracks (‘The Underground Stream’, ‘So High’) into darker but barely changed famous house tracks.

This isn’t much of a complaint though, you could argue AraabMuzik’s remixes one-up their respective source materials. It helps that his originals are near Brainfeeder-quality.
