During Avengers: Infinity War, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) was seen in the Quantum Realm, while Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne, and Hope were all snapped away by Thanos. When Lang leaves the Quantum Realm in Avengers: Endgame, he discovers that what seemed like five hours to the rest of the universe was actually five years.

As a major character motivation for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Lang learns that his daughter Cassie has grown up and that he missed a significant amount of her childhood due to his four years in prison and two years of house arrest (as we saw in the first Ant-Man movie), and five years confined in the Quantum Realm.

So, what now?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' Trailer Reveals Kang's Villainous Temptation - CNET

The Ant-Gang returns to the minuscule universe after saving Janet van Dyne from the quantum realm in the first Ant-Man and the Wasp movie. In an effort to make up for lost time with his troublesome teenage daughter, Scott is accompanied by Cassie during this movie.

The trailer claims that he strikes a deal with the villainous Kang, which of course fails miserably.

To make more sense of what we just said, watch the video below:

Alongside Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly will star as as Hope van Dyne, whose parents are played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas.

Cassie will be played by Kathryn Newton. And David Dastmalchian will also return, although he may be playing a different character than he did in the first two Ant films.

Jonathan Majors will be starring as the villainous Kang.

Catch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theatres on February 17!
