Kuala Lumpur, prepare your eardrums and your raincoats — Afrojack is making a splash, literally.

On 10 May 2025, the Dutch EDM giant is set to headline a party that promises to be wetter, wilder, and louder than anything you’ve seen before. Say hello to WATER & BEATS, an all-out sensory rave fest happening at KL BASE, Sungai Besi.

This isn’t your typical “wave-your-phone-light-in-the-air” type of night. Think thumping basslines, immersive tech, and surprise — a full-on water zone. Because apparently, the only thing better than dancing to Afrojack is doing it while soaked. Brought to you by ACO Media, ACE Integrated, and XVI Private Club by Reveillon Group, this is EDM with a splash of pool-party madness.

Of course, the star of the night needs no introduction. Afrojack has been riding high on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list since 2010. He’s collaborated with everyone from David Guetta to Pitbull and Beyoncé (yes, that Beyoncé). And now, he’s bringing that global energy right to the heart of KL.

But wait, there’s more. Joining him on deck is none other than EFFEN — no stranger to big stages and even bigger beats. The international DJ and producer has won nods from some of the industry’s biggest names, and he’s revving up to raise the energy levels through the (very wet) roof.

And it wouldn’t be a proper local rager without some hometown heat: DJ Chri-Z, one of Malaysia’s favourite beat-droppers, will be turning up the tempo. Plus, a lineup of yet-to-be-announced DJs from across the globe promises to keep the dance floor bouncing all night long.
