After 14 years of asking, Malaysia is finally getting Trevor Noah on the stage.
The internationally acclaimed comedian and former The Daily Show host will perform in Kuala Lumpur for the first time on 9 November 2026, bringing his stand-up comedy to Malaysian audiences as part of his global circuit.
Presented by LOL Asia and BOHM, the show will take place at Ideas LIVE Arena at 8:00 p.m., giving fans the chance to see one of the world’s most recognisable comedy personalities live.

Known for his sharp observational humour, Noah’s material often covers politics, race, culture, relationships and everyday life, with his international perspective forming a major part of his comedy.
“For 14 years, I chased Trevor to come to Malaysia. He will finally make it here for the first time,” said LOL Asia chief executive officer Rizal Kamal.
“Trevor belongs to a rare category of performer who can cross cultures, find the joke and still retain the humanity. Malaysia has a sophisticated audience. I think they will appreciate exactly what makes him so special.”
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Noah started his career in the country’s comedy scene before gaining an international following. He joined The Daily Show as a correspondent before taking over from Jon Stewart as host in 2015.
He hosted the programme for seven years until 2022, bringing his perspective as a South African to conversations surrounding US and international politics, culture, and current affairs.
Since leaving The Daily Show, Noah has continued to work across stand-up comedy, television, publishing, podcasting, and production.

The two-time Emmy Award winner is also the author of Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, which became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller and has sold more than three million copies across formats. His second book, Into the Uncut Grass, also became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
Noah currently hosts the weekly What Now? With Trevor Noah podcast and is the founder of Day Zero Productions and the Trevor Noah Foundation.
In 2026, he returned to Netflix with his latest comedy special, Trevor Noah: Joy in the Trenches. He also returned as host of the Grammy Awards for the sixth consecutive year, serving as both host and executive producer.
His previous Off The Record world tour sold out shows across five continents, including performances at the Hollywood Bowl, a 10-show run at New York’s Beacon Theatre and three sold-out shows at London’s O2.
According to LOL Asia, Noah’s Malaysian debut comes as the country’s live entertainment and comedy scene continues to grow. The show is expected to draw fans familiar with his work across television, stand-up, books, and podcasting.
Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur show will go on presale at 10:00 a.m. on 9 September, with general sales opening at 10:00 a.m. on 11 September via the official Fantopia ticketing platform.
