Music for Palestine III Offers A Full Day Of Raw Sound & Solidarity

Music has always been a language of resistance, and on 31 January 2026, Kuala Lumpur’s underground will once again speak loudly and clearly.

Music for Charity is reviving its Music for Palestine platform for the third time, turning BSYNC KL into a full day of sound, solidarity, and collective purpose from 2.00 p.m. until 11.00 p.m.

This is not a symbolic gesture dressed up as a gig. Music for Palestine III is built on the simple idea that local music communities can, and should, show up when it matters. At a moment when global attention is finally sharpening around the ongoing atrocities faced by Palestinians, Music for Charity is pulling together artists, audiences, and vendors under one shared cause.

All ticket proceeds from the show will go directly to Cinta Gaza Malaysia, the NGO partner for this edition.

The line-up is deliberately wide-ranging, connecting 11 local acts across genres that rarely share the same stage, but share the same conviction. Expect everything from alternative rock to the harsher ends of metal and punk.

The full roster includes Dead Mushroom, Black Fire, Langsuir, Herriot, Blind Tribe, Al Farabi, Gasmoney, As Our Throne, The Offside, 302, and Color Heart all set to take the stage. Different sounds, different subcultures, one shared stance, each band contributing its voice to a collective show of solidarity.

Beyond the bands, the day will also feature vendors who align with the spirit of the event, including Asala Coffee Caterings and WOP Pizzeria KL, alongside other participating businesses. The result is less a conventional concert and more a gathering, one that brings different corners of the community into the same room for a reason that extends far beyond entertainment.

For Music for Charity founder Shahamzeer Hamid, this third edition feels like a step forward in both scale and intention.

He describes the line-up as the strongest and most diverse so far, and credits the bands for giving their time and energy with no expectation of profit. The aim, he says, is modest but sincere, to offer whatever help is possible through music, while encouraging people to come together with friends, family, and anyone else willing to listen.

That sentiment is echoed by the show’s director, Muhamad Fathi Ismail, who is clear about the core principle behind Music for Palestine III. There is no commercial angle here, only solidarity. The event is a way for musicians, fans, and vendors to contribute collectively, whether by supporting their favourite bands, meeting like-minded people, or simply being present for the cause.
