If you’ve ever considered going to Wonderfruit, this is the year to do it. From 11 to 15 December 2025, the festival returns to The Fields at Siam Country Club in Chon Buri, marking its 10th anniversary—a milestone few Asian festivals can claim.

Sure, people love calling it “the Burning Man of Asia,” but that doesn’t quite capture its spirit. What began as a niche gathering on the outskirts of Pattaya has evolved into a world-class cultural experience blending music, art, wellness, and gastronomy.

Equal parts art fair, sustainability lab, and late-night dance utopia, Wonderfruit is now one of the most progressive and inclusive festivals in the region.

What Makes Wonderfruit Different

Wonderfruit isn’t your typical music festival—its sheer scale is mind-boggling, with more than 25 unique venues scattered across The Fields, each offering its own experience.

It’s designed as a temporary city that promotes sustainability and wellbeing as much as art and sound. Expect families with pets, artists, and travellers of all kinds—mornings filled with yoga, afternoons exploring installations, and nights pulsating with music and movement.

The five-day festival is built around six pillars—Arts, Music, Family, Farm to Feasts, Talks & Workshops, and Wellness—revolving around sustainability with every structure crafted from natural or repurposed materials.

Bamboo pavilions rise and fall each year, solar power runs major installations, and composting and recycling are standard practice.

Its Rewilding The Land programme has restored native ecosystems across The Fields and surrounding communities, planting over 32,000 trees since 2022—with another 5,000 trees and 1,000 new plants added this year to help nature reclaim the land.

The Music: From Global Headliners to Local Gems

Music anchors the nights and it’s the reason some people go. Wonderfruit’s lineup spans genres and generations, from deep electronica to Thai jazz and Afro-fusion.

While there are a plethora of genres from traditional to modern, dance music is what pulls most music-loving attendees.

For 2025, headliners include Gilles Peterson, the legendary BBC Radio 6 DJ known for championing global sounds; DJ KRUSH, Japan’s pioneering turntablist and trip-hop innovator; and FKJ, returning with a DJ set that promises his signature blend of lush electronica and jazz-infused groove.

While some venues at Wonderfruit pulse with high-energy beats and late-night revelry, others offer space to slow down. The Ancestral Forest, a humble space where intimate performances resonate with nature, is one of those sanctuaries.

Other key music zones like Solar Village and The Living Stage will feature regional talents alongside global selectors, continuing Wonderfruit’s tradition of balancing headliners with discovery.

Art, Architecture, and Design

Wonderfruit’s visual landscape is constantly evolving. Each year brings new collaborations with architects, sculptors, and light artists from across Asia. Expect large-scale installations built from natural materials, interactive pieces that respond to sound or movement, and small surprises tucked into forested corners.

For its 10th anniversary, organisers are revisiting iconic builds from previous years while debuting new works that explore the relationship between art and ecology. These are not static exhibitions—most are designed to be deconstructed, repurposed, or returned to the earth after the festival ends.

There’s even a place to cool off in the water: the Bath House, a floating sanctuary where bamboo pods and open-air pools offer a refreshing pause between performances.

Wellness and Food

By day, Wonderfruit feels more like a retreat than a rave. The Wellness Pavilion hosts classes in yoga, breathwork, and meditation alongside Thai healing traditions. Workshops on sound therapy and forest bathing invite participants to slow down between sets.

The festival’s food programme, Wonder Kitchen, is equally intentional. Guest chefs from across Asia create menus based on local ingredients and zero-waste principles. Communal long-table dinners, pop-up cafés, and organic farm stalls give the festival a culinary dimension that rivals its music.

Why This Year Matters

10 years in, Wonderfruit has become more than a festival, it’s a living experiment in what community, art, and sustainability can look like when they’re allowed to coexist. Its 10th edition isn’t just a celebration, it’s a reflection of how much the movement has grown and how far its roots now reach across Asia.
