BMW Marks 50 Years of 3 Series with 50-Unit Special Edition

If you’re into cars even a little bit, you’ll know the BMW 3 Series. It’s just about as common on our Malaysian roads as other similar offerings. But that doesn’t make it boring—not in the slightest bit.

This year, the BMW 3 Series hits a big milestone: 50 years. Half a century of tight handling, sleek design, and being the poster child for driving pleasure.

To mark the occasion, BMW Malaysia is throwing a birthday bash in the most BMW way possible—by launching a super-exclusive, very slick version of the car that started it all: the BMW M340i xDrive Edition 50 Jahre.

You’ve got to go online, pick your colour, select a dealership, and place a RM3,400 booking—all before someone else beats you to it.

It’s BMW’s way of saying thanks to its Malaysian fans while also reminding everyone that the 3 Series isn’t going anywhere. It’s just getting better with age.

But while this 50 Jahre edition is a nod to the past, BMW is very much looking to the future. Their global sales show serious growth in electric models, and the company is still pushing hard to lead in sustainable, premium mobility.
