Wyne herself!

In a city where the nightlife game has long been a boys’ club, Wyne, founder of Ms Bianca and Ms Cassie, is shaking things up.

This International Women’s Day, we’re raising a glass to women who don’t just play by the rules—they rewrite them. Wyne talks ambition, indulgence, and why your next cocktail might just be a feminist statement.

Ms Bianca, Wyne’s first venture, was born from a desire to challenge the norm. Having spent years observing the male-dominated nightlife scene as a patron, Wyne saw a clear gap. From ownership to operations, it was largely run by men. It often felt like there was this misconception that women in nightlife are limited to supporting roles or simply part of the ambience, rather than being leaders.

That’s what led Wyne to trade the fast-paced world of startups for the even wilder ride of F&B, proving that fresh eyes can shake up even the most old-school industries.

“We just wanted to do something different,” she says. So she did.

Ms Bianca was built on the radical premise that women should lead, shape, and define the experience. Everything from the music to the menu to the vibe itself is carefully curated by women, for women.

But Ms Bianca isn’t just about flipping the script—it’s about rewriting it with intention. While nightlife has long been synonymous with indulgence, Wyne believes that true luxury isn’t about excess, but experience. “Indulgence isn’t about downing the most drinks—it’s about savouring the right ones,” she explains.

The magic of Ms Bianca is in the details.

At Ms Bianca, every detail in the space is thoughtfully crafted. From the warm, low-lit ambiance and personal touches in service to the welcoming energy from our team and the cocktails and music curation, every element is designed to make guests feel good and special. The goal? To create a space where people can unwind, savour the moment, and truly connect—not just another venue lost in a haze of neon and noise.

Of course, breaking into an industry notorious for being a boys’ club wasn’t without resistance. Wyne recalls the skepticism, the patronising remarks, the industry veterans who questioned whether women had what it took to run a bar.

“I remember a man walking in and telling us, ‘You girls aren’t cut out for this—let the boys handle it.’”

Instead of proving him wrong, Wyne and her team focused on proving themselves right. The results speak for themselves.

Creating safe, enjoyable spaces for women is more than just a marketing angle—it’s a mission. While nightlife means different things to different people, Wyne understands that for many women, comfort and security can make or break the experience. That’s why Ms Bianca offers women the choice. If they want a more private section, it’s theirs—no questions asked.

“Women deserve to have fun without judgment, without worry,” she says.

That philosophy extends to the team as well, with bar manager Janet always on the floor, ensuring that every guest feels respected and taken care of.

Ms Bianca’s commitment to redefining nightlife goes beyond its own doors. Through collaborations with Universal Music and Pernod Ricard, the bar has created a platform where women in nightlife—DJs, mixologists, creatives—can take centre stage.

“It’s not just about throwing bigger parties,” Wyne says. “It’s about shaping the culture. It’s about women leading the scene, not just participating in it.”

Nowhere is this vision more evident than in Ms Bianca’s Girls Only Club Night—a once-a-month event where every guest, DJ, and staff member is a woman. “It’s a night where women can just be,” Wyne explains.

What started as a bold experiment now sees up to 60 women taking over the dance floor at Girls Only Club Night—proof that safe, empowering spaces aren’t just wanted, they’re needed.

No male gaze, no expectations, no compromises.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with guests describing it as a rare and liberating experience. “It’s incredible to see women let loose, dance how they want, wear what they want, without second-guessing themselves.”

Ms Bianca’s impact is rooted in the simple yet radical idea that nightlife should be an inclusive, empowering space. The signature Tom’s cocktail encapsulates this ethos—whiskey for sophistication, elderflower and orange for an unexpected twist. “It’s refined, but fun—just like us,” Wyne says with a smile.

And this is just the beginning.

With Ms Cassie expanding the brand’s vision, Wyne sees Ms Bianca as more than a bar—it’s a movement. “We’re not stopping at nightlife,” she hints. “We’re looking at spaces where women can connect, create, and lead.”

So, what’s her advice for women looking to break into the nightlife or hospitality industry? “Take the damn risk,” she says without hesitation.

“If an opportunity excites and terrifies you at the same time, say yes—then figure it out as you go.”

Build your network, trust your instincts, and don’t waste time pleasing people who don’t believe in you. Just go for it.”

As KL’s nightlife evolves, Wyne sees it becoming less about opulence and more about authenticity, community, and connection. The future isn’t about bigger clubs or pricier cocktails—it’s about spaces where people feel seen, where diversity is embraced, and where meaningful experiences take precedence. And with women like Wyne leading the charge, that future is already here.

“Ms Bianca and Ms Cassie aren’t just reshaping nightlife in KL—the vision is bigger, bolder, and absolutely not stopping here.”

Here’s to the women who don’t just take up space—they own it. Happy International Women’s Day from JUICE!
