Naomi Osaka Serves and SERVES in Iconic Fit at the 2024 US Open
If you follow the goings-on of the world of tennis, then Naomi Osaka is probably no stranger to your roster of elite athletes.
Making her return to the 2024 US Open (after missing last year’s competition due the birth of her daughter, Shai), the two-time US Open champion made an eye-catching statement at Flushing Meadows, donning a coquette-inspired look by Tokyo-based businesswoman and fashion designer, Yoon Ahn.

The custom fit comprises a satin warm-up jacket with a large bright green bow on the back, paired with a wide tulle skirt. For actual game time, the fit features a slimmer skirt with a matching top. The latter features a white bow on the back, but it’s a little smaller.
Aside from clothing, however, Osaka also rocked a vibrant pair of Nike Challenger sneakers in white and green. Of course, like the rest of the fit, the sneakers were adorned with ribbon bows to match the entire look.
“Often, we see athletes as one-dimensional, tied to their sport, but I get to peel back those layers and explore the different facets of who they are and how they want to present themselves through style,” said Ahn in an Instagram post.
Though it’s already widely known, we feel like it has to be said again.
Naomi Osaka does two things really, really well: Play tennis and SERVE looks at the same time. I guess you can say she serves in two different (yet, equally iconic) ways, technically.
Just LOOK at this fit.
Very demure, yet brat at the same time. How else would you describe it?
