WATCH: Netizens Tear Up Over Clip Of Bride Being Carried Over Floodwater By Her Uncle In Pahang
For many girls, the experience of being walked down the aisle by a beloved male figure is something to anticipate from the time they are children.
I personally remember huddling with my friends in primary school, planning what we’d wear on our wedding days, hand in hand with our fathers walking down a (Barbie pink) aisle.
This viral TikTok clip depicting a bride in Pahang being carried out of her home and to her pelamin under a canopy by her uncle, braving floodwaters, must have resonated with netizens in the same way, earning nearly 663,000 likes so far.

Lysa, the TikToker who posted the video, explained that the bride’s father had passed away from an illness back in 2022. He assumed custody of her and the role of her wali (guardian) after her father’s passing.
Needless to say, netizens left heartfelt remarks under the comments section, saying that watching the bride cry out of happiness made them tear up as well.
Many also applauded the uncle’s ability to adapt to the roles of a father on the bride’s special day and commended the act of another male relative who held out an umbrella for the bride and the uncle to make their way to the canopy while it was raining.
We wish the couple eternal happiness! Do you have a wholesome wedding moment to share with us as well?
