WATCH: Marvel’s ‘WHAT IF…?’ Takes Fans On An Acid Trip Across The Multiverse

Do you need another dose of superheroes? Good, because Marvel just dropped the official trailer for its upcoming show What If…? that will take you on an acid trip across the multiverse.

Like the popular comic line with the same title, the series will explore the Marvel Cinematic Universe through different lenses, asking questions like what if T’Challa became Star-Lord instead of Peter Quill, or what if Tony Stark teamed up with Erik Killmonger?

The series will explore the endless possibilities of events that could have taken place in the vast multiverse, and put a twist on the stories we know and love from the ever-expanding MCU.

As seen in the trailer, Jeffrey Wright, who is voicing the cosmic entity The Watcher, observes the chaos that unfolds but vows not to interfere. We also get to see more of what’s in store including Captain Carter kicking ass and  T’Challa’s hilarious moment with Yondu.

Many MCU veterans are reprising their iconic roles, including the late Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Star-Lord, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter/Captain Carter, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and more superstar actors and actresses voicing superheroes and villains.

Marvel Studios’ What If…? will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on 11 August, with each episode released every following Wednesday.
