Rick and Morty Will Not Be Getting a Season Four, Said Dan Harmon
We kinda saw this coming, but we didn’t expect it to be so soon. Dan Harmon, creator of the iconic Rick and Morty cartoon has confirmed that the show won’t be renewing a fourth season, as revealed on Twitter.
I hear ya, tough spot. On one hand, it can be challenging, especially with crippling lazy alcoholism, to write a show that hasn’t been ordered by a network. On the other hand, the thought that fans like you pay the price…I mean…I’m gonna grab a drink https://t.co/mvn9nthxCE

Similarly, an ex-writer of the show has also revealed that no one was working on the next season. Despite being the most popular show on Adult Swim, Rick and Morty’s fate is now left on the hands of the network.
@netflix do suttin’ please 😭

Fans are obviously not happy about the news, but this could also be the case of Harmon and the team being perfectionists about the new season, the same way they were with season three. Whatever the reason might be, we’re as anxious as Harmon himself, and can only hope for the best.
