Tiny Objects Get Pantone Colour-Matched
Leave it up to creative people like graphic designer Inka Mathew to take often overlooked objects — be it from nature or man-made — and make them attractive, if not more so by highlighting its simplicity. The project began when Mathew started matching tiny everyday items with her Pantone colour book to their respective Pantone numbers and photographing them, which resulted in the popular Tiny PMS Match Tumblr site and Instagram profile. From flora and fauna, fruits, toys, and the occasional oddity or two, her documented work has been so well-received that she even snagged herself a book deal that will be released in Spring 2016.
