A member of PHBKLK, ZNC, and The Mightys, Volre developed a penchant for incorporating human figures with stylised patterns, architecture, and nature with his favoured medium of choice—graphite and mechanical pencils. The ideas for his art strike him in the most random and mundane of moments, but he sees the smoothness and the difficulty of achieving depth when drawing a woman’s visage as a creative challenge for him to take on, especially during his initial foray into illustration. Currently, Volre is seeking to have his work extend beyond just ‘human figures’ by introducing different elements into his artwork in order to recreate the fantasy he first envisioned in his mind.
