6 M’sians Secure Global Top Spots Following ACCA Exams For December 2022
The Malaysian students and affiliates of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have once again shown their mettle by excelling in the most recent exams.
According to the professional accounting organisation, among the 107,142 students that took the ACCA December 2022 exams worldwide, numerous Malaysians placed in the top 20 globally, with six of them securing the top rankings.
Significantly, Lim Hui Ning and Jeevanandini R. Karunagaran received the highest scores, scoring the first place globally for the exams on Financial Management and Advanced Financial Management, respectively.
Whereas, on the Recording Financial Transactions paper, Foundation in Accounting students Luqman Hirzan Masri, Ahmad Imanul Nor Afandi, and Nur Afrina Khairul claimed first place in Malaysia and internationally, while Muhammad Faris Izzuddin Mohd Ridza came out on top for Management Information.
As for the ACCA affiliates, Lim Zhi Shao took first place locally, followed by Nicole Tan Ze Nee in second place and Kwong Pei Yee in third place; as reported by The Star.
Muhammad Adib Mohamed Noor, who placed first in Malaysia for both Performance Management and Taxes, expressed his gratitude for the accomplishment and that it had been his goal to be ranked first ever since joining the ACCA.
Last year, making international headlines, Johor-born Nicholas Hoe Zi Zai earned the world’s highest score in the renowned exams – all while juggling 4 part-time jobs in the hospitality sector.
Nicholas said he wished that he would keep working hard despite the difficulties he encounters in the future.
“I’ll work hard in any problems I may encounter, especially when I’m getting ready to look for jobs,” he said at the time.
We couldn’t be prouder of our fellow Malaysians marking these notable global achievements 💖
