No more bland localised spaghetti and pizzas! Everything here is home-made from the familiar sights, scents and flavours from the chef’s hometown of Abruzzo, Italy.

Passione’s culinary philosophy revolves around three central offerings – Pasta, Pizza & Produce. The menu features a wide selection of pork-based dishes, promising foodies a unique experience that is not commonly available in Malaysia, while the dishes are carefully prepped by Head Chef, Stefano who exudes a natural zest for life and its finer pleasures that is clearly reflected in his cooking.

1. Authentic Italian Fresh-Handmade Pastas

The ethos “always fresh, always handmade, never pre-packed” is clearly expressed through their signature pastas that ensure the unmistakable taste of Italian food. Through expert handling and cutting, the pasta has a unique broader cross section and porous texture that absorbs the sauces, giving you the rich punch you need. Pasta lovers will be in awe of the wide range of authentic signatures that are remarkably different from conventional sauces.

2. 400 degree Celsius of High Heat Wood Fired Pizzas

A first-of-its-kind specialty in the neighbourhood, Passione’s wood-fire pizzas will bring you back to the old days where the only method of making pizzas was by hand and baking them under high heat in brick ovens. This technique allows the pizza to have better heat distribution and caramelisation of ingredients which infuses a natural smoky aroma. Each cocktail is appropriately prepared with quality ingredients such as hard ice for slower dilution. You should definitely try the Mela Gin & Tonic, Maestro Violo, and the La Signora Rosa (don’t ask me what they mean, I just drank and enjoyed them). The bar also serves specialty Peroni Italian Beer by the bottle!
