Music has always been at the core of Heineken’s brand, and come Dec, they’ll be rolling out specially-curated music events across Penang, KL, and JB. Each of these events will be accompanied by a Heineken Green Moment–the brand’s signature music experience, custom-designed to enhance and elevate the way you experience live shows. Think of it as Heineken’s way of upping the perfect party whether with awesome one-of-a-kind visuals, an unexpected superstar-guest on the decks, or a full-on fireworks show in the middle of a climatic set.

With more shows to be announced soon, here are 4 events that Heineken Live Your Music have prepared for you to get down and lit to, so far:

1. Get a fresh perspective of Porter Robinson’s synth-washed anthemic sound (Zouk, KL on 7 Dec)

At the young age of 26, Robinson has achieved a lengthy list of accomplishments–he was named 7th in the Billboard 21 under 21 list, topped InTheMix’s 25 under 25 list, and reached 5th place in DJ Times’ 2013 ranking for America’s Best DJ. His early hit ‘Say My Name’ reached #1 on Beatport, launching Robinson into the mainstream dance music industry, catching the eye of dubstep producer Skrillex.

Checkout the Porter Robinson-Madeon collab, ‘Shelter’, below. It features a nice short anime for those extra feels…

2. Peel open your eyes and ears via the widescreen vision and big room sound of Holland’s Andrew Rayel (Zouk, KL on 14 Dec)

Another DJ/Producer who made his name at an early age, Moldovan Andrew Rayel signed onto Armin van Buuren’s label Armada Music at 17. Since then he’s been a rising and formidable force in the trance scene. He’s a regular headline at festivals like Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Stereosonic and Electric Daisy Carnival, and can be seen working the decks alongside big names like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, W&W, Dash Berlin and Hardwell.

3. Dutch EDM star Dyro sprints across the country with his sick sets (Rabbit Tale, Penang on 14 Dec)

Dyro is the Dutch EDM DJ and Producer who has consistently making waves since he started in 2010. Though most tranceheads would remember him from his collaboration with Hardwell on ‘Never Say Goodbye’, Dyro has done justice to many remixes for artistes like Rihanna, Nicky Romero and Calvin Harris.

Just a couple of months ago, he dropped a brand new collab track with Martin Garrix called ‘Latency’. Checkout the official vid for the hard-hitting track below:

4. If you’re not in Penang, Dyro will also be heading to Johor Bahru (Pagoni, JB on 15 Dec)

Die hard fans will be following him to the 2 cities, fo’ sure!

Wait… What about local acts you say? Well, Heineken will also be announcing a series of events celebrating Malaysia’s leading creative influencers and tastemakers. OG Heineken collaborator DJ Goldfish is stepping out of the spotlight to shine a light on the next generation of music talent with a series of club and bar takeovers featuring picks from his own music academy, Goldsounds Music Academy.

Not just that but local indie disco pioneers Twilight Actiongirl, fresh from their reunion last week, are returning with a new twist to their inimitable mix of rock and electronic tunes. Also, peek into the future of edgy fashion at the 10th Anniversary of the kaleidoscopically inventive Lahlahland, while dance crew Mayhem Jam freestyles their way onto the dancefloor, curated by Malaysian dance icon MayB Wong.
