It’s been ten years since the beloved Palate Palette (PP) Restaurant and Bar closed its doors in 2014, but its vibrant spirit is making a grand comeback!

Spearheaded by Su-Ann Wong, Palate Palette’s founder, in collaboration with Liza Ho of The Zhongshan Building, Suek Mei and Adrien Kent of Kantata, Angel Ji of Triptyk, Uzair Sawal of Fono, and Tommy of Tommy Le Baker, the ‘Palate Palette Pop-Up’ is set to be a nostalgic and thrilling celebration.

From 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, 29 June, 2024, the ‘Palate Palette Pop-Up’ will transform The Zhongshan Building and Kampung Attap into a hub of creativity, community, and celebration.

This one-day event marks the 10th anniversary of Palate Palette’s closing and promises to revive its cherished community spirit and lively atmosphere.

Best of all, entry is free, although some specialty activities will require tickets!

The event is a heartfelt homage to Palate Palette’s legacy, inviting attendees to relive fond memories while embracing the vibrant energy of today’s collaborators. It’s an opportunity to honour the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future filled with shared experiences and community growth.

Reflecting on the journey, Su-Ann Wong, the organiser and founder of Palate Palette, says, “A decade has passed, and with it, we’ve all matured, glowed up. While the frequency of our outings may have waned, the fond memories of those spirited days linger.

“Inspired by our loyal PP community and the supportive folks at Zhongshan @ Kampung Attap, we’re reigniting the PP spirit in a space that resonates with our shared values of openness and inclusivity.”
