If you haven’t gotten on the train of independent content yet, it’s best to hop on before it gets too far ahead for anyone to catch up on since the zine culture in Malaysia is flourishing as quickly as Malaysia’s sudden interest for cheese tarts – both are equally as good but an overconsumption of one of the two will not have you be mistaken for being pregnant (hint: It’s the one that doesn’t include cheese.) This event will see various zines for sale as well as a conversation with Hamizah Adenan of Odd One Out, Rose Nordin of OOMK, and Nizang of Mosh Zine and KL Zine Fest regarding the independent publishing scenes in Kuala Lumpur and London. If the talk inspires you enough, attend the zine-making workshop at 3pm — free of charge.
