Yuh! Here’s How You Can Watch Ariana Grande on Fortnite’s Rift Tour…

Ariana Grande is officially coming to Fortnite in the shape of a new skin that players can use, and her fans have instantly hit the meme machine!

Ranging from jokes referring to Grande’s lyrics to simply being amused that an Ariana Grande-lookalike will be in the game, people are certainly excited for the new skin drop.

The Ariana Grande skin has been teased by the Fortnite team for months but they only confirmed it was actually happening on 2 August. With two different versions of the character, as well as the ability to ride a unicorn, what more could fans want from the game?

As the character is available on 6 August for 1500 V-Bucks (RM70), this gives fans two days before the artist makes her appearance in the game at the Rift Tour concert on 8 August 2021.

While several other singers have performed Fortnite shows in the last year, none of them has reached the heights – or had full in-game events – the way Travis Scott did in 2020. However, it seems that Grande’s event will likely be on the same level as Scott’s if not even larger based on the details that Epic has announced recently.

The event could feature more gameplay sections than Scott’s last year or even guest artists, but so far Epic has only revealed Grande as the event’s headliner. The Rift Tour will be live for players in Asia and Oceania on 8 Aug at 12 a.m. ET.

But how do we watch it?

Basically, you can just hit up any platform Fortnite is on, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and Android. According to CNET, a medley of Ariana Grande’s hits will be performed while the Fortnite world transitions from song to song.

Players will be able to interact with the world in different ways. The show will likely last 10 minutes or so. Every player who participates in the Rift Tour event will also receive the Cuddly Cloudcruiser commemorative Umbrella.

Fortnite Crew subscribers, on the other hand, will get the Rainbow Cloudcruiser Umbrella, the Skye up High Loading Screen, and a Rift Tour-themed Banner if they log in anytime during the Rift Tour event.

Rift Tour quests will be available during the event, with the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen (art by Delicious Design League), Rift-sterpiece Spray and Cloudy Kitty Emoticon as rewards.
